RAD Business Systems Analyst

We are looking for a highly motivated associate to join our team. As a RAD Business Systems Analyst, you will assist in providing systems support in developing and enhancing business systems with a focus on meeting stakeholder objectives, regulatory compliance, customer, and user experience. Must be able to analyze business and regulatory requests, assisting to determine systems and business operations impact, and preparing detailed requirements for projects with minimal systems impact.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As a member of our team, you will have opportunities to manage your projects from the planning and design phase through development and maintenance. This position includes conducting systems analysis, writing business requirements, leading testing campaigns, and support enhancements to existing applications. The position will also involve working closely with data scientists, analysts, and modelers to design, manage and champion the department’s data strategy and product development practices. Additionally, it involves evaluating our business processes and driving efficiency and process improvements through the application of systems tools and/or automation. Candidate Qualifications:
• Candidate with or pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field/equivalent experience is preferred.
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle is preferred
• Experience developing test plans and executing test scenarios to ensure the highest quality deliverables.
• Experience eliciting and documenting functional system requirements from project stakeholders.
• Candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, a strong analytical ability and a willingness to respond to ad hoc requests from customers in a timely manner.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision, perform under pressure and multi-task.
• Knowledge of Data Management concepts, including data modeling, architecture and data governance is preferred.
• Working knowledge of SQL is desirable.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile project management practices is a plus.
Additional qualifications for senior level analyst grade(s):
• 3+ years of experience leading large-scale, complex systems projects through all phases of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience driving activities of analysts preferred
• Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile project management practices required.
• SAFE/Agile certifications are a plus.
- Must be able to use a PC.
- Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information and follow processes that have been published.
- Must be knowledgeable of software coding and following standards and processes that have been published and the guidelines for the design.
- Must be able to provide system training to team members as needed.
- Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, professional oral or written manner, to be understood by customers, clients, co-workers, and other employees of the organization.
- Must be able to perform under pressure and stressful situations.
- May be required to be on call for production support 24x7.
- Must be able to concentrate and demonstrate a capacity for learning technical concepts and adapting to new technologies quickly.
Must have the following education and experience:
- 0-1 years of experience is preferred.
- Agile/SAFE certifications preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in IFMS or related computer science field. Other degrees accepted with 1-year experience.
