Job Description

To accompany our exponential growth, Fortinet is seeking a Senior Field Marketing Manager, as a key player, in driving strategic marketing programs and campaigns focused on the Commercial/Enterprise Named segment. In this role, you will be responsible for setting the field marketing strategy and managing the marketing relationship with assigned Fortinet field sales representatives who will be geographically located in the North Central United States. The ideal candidate has extensive experience marketing to large commercial / enterprise named companies.

In this role, you will be accountable for aligning quarterly marketing plans with sales objectives, and driving and measuring those plans to maximize revenue potential within established budget requirements. In addition, you will create and manage lead generation programs and meaningful thought leadership platforms to meet pipeline development needs including hosted events, industry-relevant tradeshows, direct marketing campaigns, customer touch strategies, appointment-setting campaigns, content creation, social media, and various other marketing tactics to support the field sales organization.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing and driving strategic programs and content creation to ensure Fortinet focused sellers and paired engineering partners are optimally enabled to succeed. Tight collaboration with internal and external resources is required.

Responsibilities:
· Partner with Enterprise direct and indirect sales and leadership team to understand business requirements and drive quarterly/fiscal year plans
· Create and deliver comprehensive field marketing plan to meet pipeline growth and revenue objectives
· Team with fellow field marketing managers to drive consistent deployment of marketing tactics throughout the region and across the country
· Develop ideas and author messages to communicate and persuade at various points of the customer journey
· Manage quarterly budget, accurately estimate costs and manage execution
· Manage field event/programs with regional Fortinet sales (seminars, tradeshows, conferences, association participation, etc.) from initial planning to final execution including contracts, logistics, developing promotional communications to drive attendance, on-site execution and follow up/tracking
· Identify tactics/assets that are most impactful for acceleration of pipeline
· Identify industry events and potential call for presentation opportunities
· Leverage social media to raise awareness and further promote our presence at various events
· Accurately measure pipeline, campaign effectiveness and ROI
· Align field marketing events with core demand generation programs to ensure generation of marketing qualified leads through integrated, multi-touch programs
· Manage various industry association relationships

Required Skills/Education
• Minimum 3-5 years high-tech marketing experience, ideally in the security sector
• Minimum 10 years working directly with field sales and sales executives on marketing programs
• Experience in marketing program management
• Experience with Account Based Marketing strategies and programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Vendor management experience
• Intermediate Salesforce and marketing automation experience
• A self-motivated, independent thinker who can drive and deliver defined projects and meaningful content
• Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Competitive, self-starter that is motivated to succeed
• Must be metrics driven and a strong analytic thinker
• BA/BS in Marketing or related field

Education

• BS or equivalent experience
• MBA a plus
