Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Support the development and execution of the Ford Credit Product Analytics Strategy: Remove barriers, find solutions to complex data analytics needs across the organization Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), establish measurement frameworks, and create actionable insights to drive product improvements and growth
- Drive Data Analytics Self-Service: Partner with Data Engineering, data warehousing, and business intelligence teams to establish frameworks to self-serve data visualizations.
- Advocate for data-driven decision making: Promote the use of data in all product decisions and educate product teams on how to interpret and apply data insights effectively. Develop and deliver presentations and learning opportunities to promote data literacy within the product organization.
- Foster a culture of Experimentation: Advance existing experimentation program by influencing and inspiring product teams to incorporate experimentation as a core part of the product development process
- Partner closely with product and engineering teams: Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements for data collection, instrumentation, and reporting. Work closely with them to incorporate data-driven insights into product development and iteration processes
- Create well-defined Product Management Documents: Develop Product Requirements Documents, Business Case Documents, Strategy Documents, KPIs, OKRs, as well as features, user stories, metrics, and acceptance criteria, prioritizing them into release planning.
- Develop and drive the execution of Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap that balances short-term wins with long-term platform goals, continuously monitoring performance and iterating based on user feedback.
- Lead and mentor a team of Digital Analytic Product Specialists: Guide, support, and develop the skills of Product Specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment; provide regular, constructive, and critical feedback and coaching to team members. This must include product skills, product documents and deliverables, technology skills, and product frameworks.
- Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging technologies: Continuously learn and explore new analytic tools, techniques, and methodologies to optimize our analytic capabilities. Share knowledge and best practices with the team.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights: Analyze large datasets from various sources (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, CRM, Internal databases) to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Present findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and visualizations: Create interactive dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights into key product performance metrics
- Be Proactive and Transparent: Identify issues, mitigate, and plans for them early, or escalates issues early enough to timely resolve them.
Qualifications
You'll have...
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics) with a combination of experience and education
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in digital analytics and experimentation within a technology company
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience leading Digital Analytics Center of Excellence in a large organization with a proven record of architecting and driving analytics implementation guides, dictionaries, governance, and streamlining across multiple business units.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience leading and mentoring digital analytics teams; Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing teams
- A strategist with a strong product mindset, expertise in defining the strategy on critical customer journey insights, with a deep understanding of how they need to be collected from digital channels to stitch the customer journeys and derive critical data insights.
- Experience working within product organizations: Proven track-record of successfully driving product improvements and growth using data-driven insights. Understanding of and experience with agile methodologies and product development lifecycles
- Established experience with A/B Testing and experimentation methodologies and tools
- Extensive experience with digital analytics platforms: Deep expertise in analytic tooling (Adobe, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Contentsquare, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Tag Managers, SDKs ) including experience with data collection, processing, analysis, and reporting
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, and Power BI

- Master of Business Administration or other Master’s degree preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills: Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to comfortably pivot and change direction in a fluid environment where priorities shift regularly.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Analytic Skills and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, draw conclusions, and communicate insights effectively
- Experience with data warehousing and big data technologies (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake) a plus
