The Ford Motor Credit Company team helps put people behind the wheels of great Ford and Lincoln vehicles. By partnering with dealerships, we provide financing, personalized service and professional expertise to five thousand dealers and more than four million customers in over one hundred countries around the world.

Ford Credit is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting pricing activities, ensuring accurate financial analysis, and contributing to the development of competitive pricing strategies. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the financial services industry and bring innovative ideas and best practices to our organization.

Responsibilities

What you'll do….

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic studies and ad-hoc analysis. Prepare detailed reports that provide insights into financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Pricing Model Development: Assist in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of sophisticated pricing models and tools. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure models are robust, scalable, and aligned with current market conditions.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to enhance competitive positioning and pricing strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Treasury, Risk, and Operations, to gather and analyze relevant data. Ensure alignment and integration of financial strategies across departments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. Develop presentations and reports that communicate complex financial information effectively.
  • Risk Management: Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management strategies. Ensure all financial activities comply with internal policies and procedures, as well as external regulatory requirements.
  • Project Management: Participate in and lead ad-hoc projects and initiatives, demonstrating strong project management skills. Drive projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation within the financial analysis and pricing functions. Proactively suggest and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

You'll have….

  • Bachelors Degree (Finance/Economics/Accounting preferred but not required)
  • 5 years of proven experience in financial analysis at firms within the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated experience in financial modeling and data analysis tools, such as Excel, Alteryx, or Anaplan
  • Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Treasury, Risk, and Operations teams.

  • An advanced degree (e.g. MBA)
  • Experience within the Auto Finance industry
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and transform it into actionable insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Experience with developing and implementing pricing strategies that align with market trends and organizational goals
  • Experience with business intelligence software and financial databases
  • Familiarity with risk management principles pertinent to the financial services industry
  • Ability to lead projects and initiatives, with a track record of driving results and influencing decision-making
