The Ford Enterprise Architecture Program Management office leads key initiatives to enable software development at Ford. We are looking for a Program Manager to run existing projects, manage a small communication team and establish an Open-Source Program office. This program office will encourage software engineers’ contributions to open-source software that benefit Ford and make an impact in the open-source community showcasing Ford's tech talent.

The Program Manager is responsible for managing any audit findings, org change and communication plan and execution, as well as leading the Open-Source Program - defining, designing, and delivering an Open-Source Program Office that coordinates and manages all activities associated with open-source software usage, contributions and new Open-source projects. You will demonstrate extraordinary organizational and cross-functional communication skills to evolve the open-source program for the enterprise.
As a Program Manager, you will partner with multiple departments - Ford Legal, IT Contracts, Enterprise Architecture and DevSec Ops to assist with governance and support for projects and programs in the Enterprise Architecture space and establish Open-Source use and contributions. You will collaborate to identify and improve process and program efficiencies. In addition, work can involve external parties such as open-source communities, standards bodies, partners, etc.
This is a hybrid opportunity in Dearborn, MI at our Rotunda Center and the team normally is onsite 1-2 days/ week.
