The Role
A technically savvy video and broadcast producer who understands the value of modern content and learn marketing experiences, platforms/format to drive deeper customer/prospect engagement with Fidelity.
The role focuses primarily on livestreaming and on-demand video/webinar programming, leveraging strategic planning, technical knowledge for online broadcasts and platforms as well as marketing acumen and project management. Having experience in video, broadcast and podcast pre and post production, and editing. The role is tasked to guide, organize, and elevate the experience, content and production of educational videos/webinars, audio in partnership with Fidelity’s content, marketing and business teams. The position is part of the Owned Channel Marketing Group.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Experience in building content marketing programs to drive engagement and business results through livestreams and on-demand video platforms.
- Capability and production:
- Knowledge of online broadcast platforms and how to utilize them to scale engagement and build effective end-to-end experiences for guests. (Vimeo/Livestream Studio, vMix, OBS, Splash, preferred)
- Skills needed to produce current and engaging live and recorded videos including video editing and general knowledge of graphic design. Experience with Adobe Premier, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Animate a plus. Can set up cameras, audio and lighting for small productions.
- Skills needed to manage event registration experience from event overviews, to confirmation, to reminder and post event follow up communications.
- Collaborate with colleagues and peers to create effective, visually engaging work and ensure modern and efficient production practices, processes and protocols are followed on all productions.
- Can uphold best practices for content learning for livestream, on-demand video and podcasts across multiple viewing platforms including .com experiences, YouTube and other social channels. This includes short and long-form content.
- Lead all aspects of the production cycle from beginning to end including financial and production planning and arrangement for all pre- and post-production resources and deliverables. Able to be hands-on and manage the full production.
- Provide production, creative and content guidance to colleagues throughout the production cycle.
- Proven experience identifying and owning opportunities that improve modern video and broadcasting programs holistically.
- Direct studio and location shoots; off-line and on-line edit sessions, audio recording, editing and mixing sessions, and other production sessions, as required.
- Experience using data and customer insights to drive meaningful content and partnerships that strengthen relationships with customers.
- Ability to articulate channel and program recommendations using a data first approach that drives value for Fidelity and our clients/prospects.
- Web publishing experience (Tridion, Java, HTML) or web design knowledge preferred.
- A self-motivated mindset driven by the desire to continuously improve and adapt to partner, audience and business needs.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation skills, and comfortable working with a large group in-person and remotely.
- Capable of managing multiple initiatives and programs at any given time.
- Ability to develop an understanding of what information matters to Fidelity clients, prospects and leadership, and to stay on top of changing project objectives and needs.
- Passion for owning outcomes, working across multiple teams with different skills while developing new skillsets.
- Experience managing the legal and retention requirements of a financial firm is a plus.
- A talent to thrive in a fast-paced environment and easily adapt to change.
- Adept at preparing and delivering recommendations, marketing plans, program measurement results and presentations to Senior Leadership
Role Requirements
- Bachelors or equivalent with 5+ years of video production, broadcasting, and marketing content development experience.
- Business/Technical Knowledge: Applies knowledge of concepts, theories, and practices of video and audio production/technical discipline. Has an understanding in production operations (livestream and on-demand), video/audio editing and how to produce effective video, audio and webinar learning programs. Has experience working with and maintaining the various production and online technologies needed to operate an efficient production.
- Experience with lighting, cameras and audio production set up.
