Job Description:

Ensures application of systems thinking principles, allowing team members to independently design, code, test, and deploy software. Provides the necessary documentation to support the software development life cycle. Develops prototypes and solutions leverage a diverse range of technology. Applies modern principles, methodologies, tools, and systemic processes to support the launch of new business capabilities.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and three (3) years of experience. The position requires experience with: Java; Springboot; JavaScript; Git; SQL; Oracle PL/SQL; Able to understand complex inter applications; Able to analyze and troubleshoot data and issues; cron jobs knowledge; Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) mapping and tool - IBM Sterling Integrator; EDI File Standards including X12 and EDIFact; EDI feeds for US & CA Brokerage Processing including Commercial Invoice, 7501, B3 and Invoicing; Sterling File Gateway Communication protocols including sftp, http, and MQ; Linux skills and familiarity with work in in a Linux environment; Oracle database; Agile methodologies; and Requirements gathering, business analysis. Position allows for telecommuting from home within commuting distance of Memphis, TN.
