Management Advisor, Transformation Execution, Project Portfolio Management (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1502161), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Chicago, IL.

Help clients to design, build and operate Project, Program and Portfolio Management solutions. Transforms the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) capabilities of organizations through the design and implementation of solutions including business process transformation and IT enablement. Identify program and work stream level risks, issues and interdependencies. Identify the capability, process, infrastructure and design required to meet the business needs around the client’s intended PPM maturity target level. Build processes, criteria and infrastructure needed to identify, prioritize, manage and monitor initiatives, portfolios and resources in a way that optimal business results and benefits are achieved.

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field, plus 5 years post-bachelor's progressive experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Systems, Engineering, Economics, Business or a related field, plus 4 years of experience.

Must have 2 years of professional services client facing consulting experience, of which at least 1 year of experience must be with a large multinational consulting firm.

Must have 3 years of solution design experience, including analyzing needs, evaluating options, selecting the final design and validating the solution against the original needs.

Must have 2 years of experience in designing, setting up or leading workstreams for a PMO, EPMO or similar organizational governance structure involving multiple, related projects.

Must have 1 year of experience working on end-to-end business or organizational transformations.

Must have 2 years of experience implementing governance structures for complex programs, portfolios or organizations - including definition of ownership, accountability roles and responsibilities, decision making frameworks, gate approval process, program or organizational wide communications, and formalized and standard governance.

Must have 2 years of experience with at least 3 of the following:
-designing, implementing or operationalizing frameworks for Project Portfolio Management;
-designing process and/or technology solutions;
-managing teams or organizational processes;
-managing customer interactions;
-end-to-end business strategy development; or
-organizational strategy / organizational design.

Must have at least 1 year of experience as Workstream Lead on end-to-end PPM implementations using Planview, Clarity, Niku HP, Primavera or MS Project Server, or a similar leading edge market standard PPM enabling platform.

Travel required up to 80%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.
