Sr Manufacturing Engineer
Must be Green Card holder or USA Citizen.
Location: Onsite- San Antiono
The manager is looking for 3 Manufacturing Engineers with more experience in process setup. Please be sure that your candidates experience in process set up is clearly stated on the resume prior to submittal
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am- 4pm. OT might be required mainly on Fridays but could be some Saturdays as well as required per the projects
Responsibility is to support Engineering projects developing and executing manufacturing plans.
Their day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with engineers and other professionals to setup manufacturing process, layout updates, place and follow up purchase orders for new tooling and equipment design to verify they’re accurate and meet industry standards; prepare plans, coordinate multifuntional reviews, keep records and present executive reports.
Requirements and other responsiblities:
• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process with a demonstrated history of successfully completing projects and leading new process setup.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office,
• CAD Experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or ProE or similar software)
• Team Center and NX experience is a plus
• Experience with ERP systems and simulation softwares
• Expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, JIT, cycle time analysis, ergonomics, and facilities/layout design.
• Working knowledge of advanced quality control tools, data analysis, and problem-solving techniques (e.g., PFMEA, Pareto analysis, SPC).
• Strong leadership skills including managing engineering teams and projects
• Experience in preparing and managing project timelines, resources, and budgets
• Highly effective written and verbal communication for creating technical documentation, reports, presentations, and working with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex engineering problems.
• Experience with safety standards (OSHA, ISO) and industry-specific regulations.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing work environments.
• experience with manufacturing equipment installations and tooling setup, systems integration and automation processes
• Candidates should be adaptable and prepared to contribute to a variety of tasks as needed by the company and department. This role involves supporting manufacturing engineers and project managers across different stages of projects and must be open to assisting with any task required to help meet the team's objectives.
