Job Title: Business Process Specialist

Details: 12-month contract with ongoing need, Hybrid – 3 days weekly onsite

Location: Peoria, IL

Pay Rate: $55.00 – 60.00/hr. with benefit inclusions

Job Summary: Caterpillar IT GCIO SD&D is seeking a Business Process Specialist to act as a key liaison between Global Parts Pricing and Caterpillar IT for the Parts Pricing modernization project. You will gather and communicate business requirements, define objectives and methods related to pricing processes, and provide day-to-day support to business partners, managers, and directors.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Scrum masters, Technical leads, and Software engineers to track and communicate design, development, and support of new features.

Identify and solve complex customer problems.

Lead user acceptance testing and write training documents.

Perform business analyses and set priorities with business partners and technical teams.

Coordinate with product development engineers and report design, reliability, and maintenance issues.

Provide guidance and support for product integration and train business partners.

Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (SoX).

Provide expert advice on enterprise business processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Years of Experience and Education:

Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of experience in business processes and systems.

Skills Required:

Experience as a business analyst for large IT solutions.

Familiarity with Agile methodology and programming languages (e.g., Java, Postgre SQL, AWS).

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work with offshore teams and provide leadership.

Knowledge of agile development lifecycle.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
