Sales Engagement Specialist - Events and Coordination

Location: New York, NY, USA - Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Summary: The primary role of a marketing manager is to lead market research in various regions to determine potential sales opportunities for products or services. This includes gathering information on competitors and marketing methods.

The Opportunity: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic thinker with a deep understanding of event coordination, sales marketing, and sales support. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant experience, including expertise in event planning, lead generation, marketing campaign execution, and sales support functions. This role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously, delivering results, and ensuring seamless communication with sales teams. Responsibilities include maintaining sales event, launch, and training calendars, ensuring Salesforce hygiene, managing sales collateral, and coordinating training schedules and participation. Client's Ads requires working from the office three days per week. A competitive compensation and benefits plan will be provided.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, organization, and execution of various regional events, including trade shows, conferences, product launches, and webinars, ensuring all logistical aspects are managed seamlessly.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns to promote events, including email marketing, social media promotion, and content creation.
  • Lead Generation: Generate and qualify leads through event participation, ensuring a steady flow of potential clients for the sales team.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure event venues, materials, and services, ensuring all requirements are met within budget and on time.
  • Budget Management: Create and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring all activities are cost-effective and within the allocated budget.
  • Post-Event Analysis: Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Content Development: Create engaging content for event promotions, including invitations, brochures, social media posts, and presentations.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of event participants, leads, and customer interactions using CRM software.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align event strategies with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Sales Event, Launch, and Training Calendar Maintenance: Maintain and update the calendar for sales events, product launches, and training sessions.
  • Salesforce Hygiene: Ensure that Salesforce data is accurate, up-to-date, and clean, maintaining high standards of data integrity.
  • Collateral Hygiene: Manage and organize sales collateral, ensuring all materials are current and relevant.
  • Communication with Sales Teams: Regularly communicate with sales teams to ensure alignment on event and marketing strategies.
  • Training Schedule and Participation Control: Coordinate training schedules and monitor participation, ensuring that all team members receive necessary training.
  • Sales Asset Allocation: Manage the allocation of sales assets to ensure optimal utilization and availability.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales development, sales marketing, or a similar area with a strong focus on planning and coordination.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Skills:

  • Previously owned event-focused marketing programs, either in-house or through vendors.
  • Outstanding vendor/partner management relationships and RFP skills.
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally and within matrixed organizations.
  • Demonstrated interest and success in event planning, marketing, and coordination.
