Job Title: Senior BI Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly proficient Senior BI Analyst to join our strategy and operations team under e-commerce, specifically in customer service and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and Tableau, and will be capable of guiding the business through data insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau.
• Perform advanced SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
• Utilize Python for data transformation and analysis.
• Uncover insights from data and provide strategic guidance to the business.
• Follow predefined systems, protocols, and agile project life cycles.
• Participate in bi-weekly sprints, demos, and scrum calls.
• Interact with various teams including customer service, promoter, and fulfillment teams.
• Evaluate the efficiency of chatbots and provide recommendations based on data analysis.
• Directly interact with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 to 9 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and Tableau.
• Experience with Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow agile methodologies and use tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience in customer service analytics is a plus.
• Familiarity with customer service ticketing systems such as Zendesk or Sprinklr is a bonus.
• Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data.
• Experience with AWS, Vertica, Google Cloud Platform, and other big data technologies.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in telecom, retail, e-commerce, or mobile consumer electronics industries.
• Knowledge of predictive analytics and model development.
• Familiarity with Power BI is acceptable in lieu of Tableau experience.

Interview Process:

• Two rounds of interviews.
• Coding exercises on SQL, Tableau, and Python.
• Weightage: 40% SQL, 40% Tableau, 20% Python.

Additional Information:

• This is a senior position with a focus on hands-on technical work (75%) and providing strategic guidance (25%).
• The role requires proactive problem-solving and the ability to provide actionable insights to improve business operations.
