Summary:
The Business Operations Specialist will maintain vendor relationships and act as a business analyst for non-IT projects, filling roles above an administrative level but below management. Responsibilities include maintaining project management processes, such as goals, deadlines, metrics, and budgets. This role typically reports to a project manager or director.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization.
- Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics.
- Review contracts, cost proposals, and contract supplements.
- Set up project and work breakdown structures.
- Establish and document business processes.
- Track project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls, and costs against budgets.
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles as needed.
- Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
- Proficiency with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, human resources, or a relevant field required.
- 0-2 years of related experience required.
Key Responsibilities/Requirements: This role is responsible for analyzing and reporting business data within the SEA Mobile Production Center, primarily working on the Client's CRN (Certified Re-New) account. Responsibilities include reviewing KPIs, forecasts, and running daily account operations by reviewing data and creating reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Track weekly KPIs, including forecasts, return volumes, and production progress, to update the database and report to management.
- Create weekly inventory status reports to share with internal operation teams.
- Set up incoming product systems for production readiness.
- Review and validate receiving rejects to provide guidance on inventory movement.
- Conduct systematic inventory checks to ensure alignment with physical inventories.
- Analyze production rejects weekly and transfer them back to the warehouse.
- Coordinate physical inventory movement with the warehouse team.
- Follow up on daily account operations and issues to ensure smooth operations.
Background/Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in business analysis, account management, or project management.
- Advanced experience with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (especially Excel for data analysis and reporting).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data and present reports.
- Excellent communication skills.
Necessary Skills/Attributes:
- Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships at multiple levels within the company.
- Ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources, prepare spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and tables, and plan and prioritize multiple work assignments.
- Ability to read, write, provide critical technical reviews, and prepare reports, technical manuals, test procedures, and technical product information.
- Demonstrated English language competency in both oral and written communication for internal and external communications.
- Ability to solve problems involving diverse conditions requiring creativity to search for solutions.
- Job duties require analysis and judgment of functional practices and daily experiences to determine appropriate courses of action.
Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions:
- Work is generally performed in an office using a PC, with occasional work in the warehouse.
- May require working additional hours beyond the normal schedule.
- Consistently demonstrate a commitment to policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.
