Lead DevOps Engineer Description
We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team.
You will collaborate within a small team responsible for implementing DevOps principles and managing CI/CD pipelines. This role includes deploying AWS services to our Production account and working with various teams to maintain seamless operations. We encourage qualified candidates to apply.

Responsibilities
- Apply DevOps principles and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Deploy AWS services to the Production environment weekly
- Resolve deployment issues and technical bottlenecks
- Create pipelines for services provided by Development teams
- Migrate legacy pipelines from Azure ADO to AWS infrastructure
- Facilitate collaboration with Development and Operations teams
- Document processes and support governance initiatives
- Monitor communication channels and adhere to organizational norms
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet established deadlines
- Leverage AWS Cloud Development Kit for service integrations
- Assist software engineers and internal teams when necessary
- Contribute to high-frequency releases and product rollouts
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in public cloud environments
- Background in working extensively with Amazon Web Services
- Proficiency in deploying resources like Amazon ECS and Serverless Lambdas
- Understanding of build and deployment tools, including AWS CodeBuild and AWS CodePipeline
- Knowledge of critical AWS services like Amazon VPC, Amazon S3, and AWS IAM
- Capability to collaborate efficiently and contribute ideas to a team environment
- Skills in managing tasks and identifying process improvement opportunities
- Qualifications in scripting with Bash or PowerShell are a plus
- Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation and modern deployment strategies
- Competency in designing and implementing DevOps pipelines for Infrastructure as Code
- Full proficiency in English communication at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Background in AWS CodeBuild
- Familiarity with AWS Resource Access Manager
- Expertise in Terraform
- Skills in GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Understanding of key Azure DevOps concepts
