We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Software Engineer to lead a high-performing team and spearhead the development of data pipelines for an advanced data platform.

This position demands strategic insight, technical expertise, and a team-oriented approach to build reliable data pipeline solutions for training and inference workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Software Engineering team by offering mentorship and technical direction
• Define and deliver scalable and efficient data pipelines leveraging Airflow and Python
• Optimize ETL processes to convert and transform data into actionable formats for training and inference
• Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams while working in an agile framework
• Convert feature requirements and data mappings into well-engineered, maintainable code solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years in Data Software Engineering
• 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
• Proficiency in Amazon Web Services, Apache Airflow, PostgreSQL
• Expertise in designing and managing ETL workflows with in-depth knowledge of data transformations, migrations, and integrations
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and flexibility to accommodate dynamic project needs
• B2-level or higher English communication skills

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OpenSearch
• Qualifications in creating search and indexing solutions
