We are seeking a passionate Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in Unreal Engine, C++, and automation pipelines to enhance the quality of our game testing process.

In this role, you’ll develop and maintain testing automation for Unreal Editor and related tools, optimize existing workflows, and collaborate with teams to identify key areas for further automation.

This is a fully remote position that offers you the flexibility to work from any location in Armenia, whether it's your home or well-equipped offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test tools and automation frameworks
• Refactor and optimize the existing test automation codebase for readability, maintainability, and scalability
• Plan, design, and implement complex test scenarios, including multi-user distributed automated testing
• Streamline and optimize automated test suites for comprehensive test coverage and efficient execution
• Collaborate with development teams to identify areas for additional automation and improve testing workflows
• Create scripts and tools to support test operations
• Ensure effective integration of unit testing into test processes
• Develop and maintain pipelines for testing automation using C++ and C#
• Conduct thorough testing using API platforms such as Postman or curl
• Document test results and provide actionable recommendations for defect resolution

Requirements

• Showcase of complex testing automation tools and pipelines for Unreal Engine using C++ and C#
• Proficiency in unit testing and general understanding of automation frameworks
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and testing pyramid concepts
• Expertise in C++ and familiarity with C#
• Competency with API platforms like Postman or curl, along with an excellent understanding of the HTTP protocol
• Good XML understanding and flexibility to create scripts/tools to support test operations
• Experience with MS Visual Studio, Rider, VS Code, or Notepad++ environments
• Background in using Windows as a primary operating system
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility in tackling challenges

Nice to have

• Understanding of test automation approaches: Data-Driven Development, Keyword-Driven Development, Behavior-Driven Development
• Experience with test automation drivers such as Selenium, Appium, or MS Automation Driver
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
• Basic understanding of 3D and 2D graphics principles
• Familiarity with Perforce, GitHub, or test case management systems like QMetry, Test Rail, or Zephyr
