We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a lead, you will be instrumental in guiding our accounting operations and ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions
• Develop and implement robust financial policies and procedures
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes
• Mentor and manage accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure successful audit outcomes
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and address discrepancies
• Manage budget preparation and monitor financial performance
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Streamline accounting systems and processes for improved efficiency
• Serve as a key point of contact for financial inquiries from internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles
• At least one year of experience in a leadership or team management role
• Proficiency in financial risk management techniques and practices
• Strong skills in financial planning and analysis to support strategic decisions
• Advanced knowledge of accounting software and systems
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Capacity to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• CPA or other relevant professional certifications
• Experience with international financial reporting standards
• Knowledge of tax planning and compliance
