EPAM Vietnam is looking for a highly motivated Senior Python Automation Test Engineer to develop our quality team.

You will play a vital role in transitioning our testing services from mostly manual to automated throughout the software development lifecycle, positioning our projects at the forefront of innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver test automation and test automation frameworks
• Define test automation approaches, measure effectiveness to utilize resources and testing methods
• Manually execute test cases across different functionalities, logging all identified defects and bugs in the tracking system
• Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered in pre-defined test cases
• Amend test cases and test steps to ensure they are up-to-date based on the application’s current version
• Prepare the necessary test data (if applicable) and maintain a test data bank to ensure sufficient data is available for multiple scenario-based testing
• Participate in usability testing sessions to identify usability issues and suggest improvements
• Prepare detailed test reports with clear documentation of test execution results, defect logs and regression testing coverage
• Client-facing role: participate in phone conferences, customer interviews, workshops and presentations

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Software Testing and/or Test Automation experience using Python programming, dealing with complex technical issues and tasks
• Advanced in test automation using test automation frameworks in Python and related tools such as Karate & Gatling
• Experience in customer-facing roles
• Strong expertise in test management and functional testing
• Understanding of Test Automation Approaches and Test Automation Principles
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and Test Automation processes
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English (B2)
