We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps .NET Engineer with profound knowledge in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and extensive experience in cloud solutions, particularly AWS.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in enhancing our system architecture, optimizing deployment operations, and ensuring overall system resilience and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Octopus, Bamboo, and Team City
• Employ Infrastructure as Code principles to automate system setups and configurations
• Monitor and optimize system observability utilizing tools like Grafana, Kibana, and Datadog
• Collaborate with QA specialists to design and implement unit and automation tests using N-unit and X-unit frameworks
• Drive architecture and solution design improvements
• Develop well-tested, scalable, and performant code
• Implement security best practices across all levels of development and deployment
• Utilize Git for version control and source code management
• Support migration efforts from legacy WSX server-based applications to modern .NET Core solutions
• Engage in technical problem-solving and troubleshooting
• Maintain consistent communication with international teams through proficiency in English
• Actively participate in team development processes and adhere to best practices
• Focus on technical debt reduction and system depreciation strategies
• Coordinate and drive the forward movement of projects, even when faced with ambiguity

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in both legacy .NET Framework and modern .NET Core environments
• In-depth knowledge of MVC, Web Forms, IIS, and familiarity with COM+
• Strong background in cloud computing with proficiency in AWS
• Skills in scripting and tooling for automation and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) methodologies
• Understanding of monitoring and observability best practices across platforms
• Qualifications in designing resilient and efficient system architectures
• Flexibility to use Git for efficient version control practices
• Background in writing well-tested and performant code
• Demonstrated experience in driving the migration of applications to updated platforms
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure management
• Familiarity with Nginx as a reverse proxy solution
• Understanding of modern JavaScript, TypeScript, or REACT for potential front-end alignment
• Prior success in migrating .NET Framework apps to .NET Core
