We are looking for a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team and spearhead the development and maintenance of our DevOps service mesh platform, Plexus.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in building and optimizing our cloud infrastructure deployment using Kubernetes and collaborating with leading cloud providers such as AWS and Azure. A comprehensive understanding of platform engineering will be instrumental in this position.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the development and ongoing maintenance of the Plexus Service Mesh platform
• Optimize cloud infrastructure deployments in collaboration with cloud providers including AWS and Azure
• Ensure effective teamwork for smooth project delivery and adherence to deadlines
• Engage in the software development lifecycle including design, coding, code reviews, and documentation
• Address and troubleshoot deployment issues, optimizing performance and scalability

Requirements

• Proficiency with Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Experience using Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Microsoft Azure
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
• Capable of ensuring security best practices in infrastructure deployment
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with a B2 level proficiency

• Familiarity with GCP
• Background in Go Language or Red Hat OpenShift
