Responsibilities

• Expertly use Puppet or Ansible for configuration management tasks, including creating and comprehending puppet modules and ansible playbooks
• Accurately comprehend the client's needs for migrating legacy or 3rd party applications to cloud platforms like AWS, Kubernetes, among others
• Collaborate effectively with the team to design a target state and devise a migration plan based on client needs
• Develop containerized versions of applications using technologies such as Docker, Fargate, EKS, or Kubernetes, in line with project specifications
• Establish seamless continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to efficiently deploy and manage application updates
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Terraform to provision infrastructure resources, ensuring consistent and scalable solutions

Requirements

• Direct experience with Puppet/Ansible, including ability to craft and understand puppet modules
• Proficiency in Ruby
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Fargate, EKS, Kubernetes)
• Competency in Linux shell scripting

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Python
• Proven ability to learn new tools and languages quickly
