We are actively seeking a Senior Cyber Defense Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in analyzing complex data sets to identify and mitigate potential cyber threats.

With a deep understanding of cyber defense principles and practices, you will utilize data analytics tools and techniques to detect patterns and anomalies in security data. As a Senior Cyber Defense Analyst, you will be responsible for developing dashboards and reports to communicate cyber defense status and trends to stakeholders, as well as conducting root cause analysis of security incidents using data analytics to continuously improve data collection and analysis processes to enhance cyber defense posture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Cyber Defense Analyst of similar role
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent
• Proven experience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on cyber defense (cyber threat hunting)
• Strong proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of NIST cybersecurity framework and guidelines
