What You'll Be Doing:
The Service Lead, Network and Endpoint Security Services is a critical role responsible for the overall strategy, management, and continuous improvement of the company's network and endpoint security services globally. This includes setting the technology roadmap, prioritizing enhancements, driving service improvements, engaging stakeholders, and optimizing the network and endpoint security technology stacks.
What You Should Bring:
Technology Strategy & Roadmap:
Define and maintain the long-term strategic roadmap for network and endpoint security services to enable business objectives while addressing risks
Conduct market research on emerging network and endpoint security technologies and trends to inform roadmap decisions
Develop and manage an integrated roadmap consolidating input across regions and business areas
Service Enhancement & Optimization:
Manage the prioritization and delivery of enhancements to network and endpoint security capabilities based on business impact, risk, and operational criteria
Drive continuous service improvement through review of service metrics, incident data, and customer feedback
Optimize the network and endpoint security technology stack, retiring technical debt and driving standardization and consolidation where appropriate
Foster an environment of innovation, continuous learning, and operational excellence
Measure and drive service optimization and operational excellence across a global team
Stakeholder Engagement:
Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business priorities, risks, and constraints
Evangelize the network and endpoint security strategy and roadmap across the organization, ensuring tight alignment
Work closely with architecture, engineering, and operations teams on design, deployment, and support of network and endpoint security services
Mentor and develop individuals across a matrixed, global team; provide clear expectations and regular feedback
Budget & Vendor Management:
Develop and manage the annual budget for network and endpoint security services and associated capital expenditures
Evaluate and select network and endpoint security vendors/products through RFPs and proofs of concept
Your Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field
OR a high school diploma with 15+ years of cyber experience
12+ years of experience in network/cybersecurity, with deep technical expertise in areas like firewalls, IPS/IDS, DDoS mitigation, DNS security, URL filtering, Web Application Firewalls, EDR, application control, vulnerability management
5+ years of experience in technology strategy, roadmap planning and execution in an enterprise environment

Additional Preferences:
Experience working on emergency, critical, or urgent technology incidents
Knowledge of security frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
Experience managing both operational expenses and capital expenditure budgets
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical needs to business priorities and vice versa
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills
Relevant cybersecurity certification(s) such as CISSP, CCNP Security, etc. preferred

Local candidates will be required to work a hybrid model at the Lilly Corporate Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Lilly currently anticipates that the base salary for this position could range from between $154,500 to $261,800 and will depend, in part, on the successful candidate’s qualifications for the role, including education and experience. Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate in a company-sponsored 401(k); pension; vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities).
