Job Duties and Responsibilities
Gen Mobile is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development, execution, and delivery of our product roadmap for prepaid, lifeline, and marketing analytics. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of Gen Mobile's services, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of our target market and drive business growth. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and market research to launch and post-launch analysis. To manage the product development process, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, sales, legal, and business intelligence. In addition, other marketing projects and responsibilities may be assigned as needed. This position reports to the Gen Mobile Director of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessments to identify new product and service enhancement opportunities; stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with Gen Mobile's overall business strategy. Prioritize features and initiatives based on market needs, business goals, and resource constraints
- Product Development Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation, requirements gathering, and design through development, testing, launch, and post-launch analysis
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, sales, customer support, and finance, to ensure seamless product development and launch execution; communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to all stakeholders
- Requirements Definition: Translate market needs and business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories; collaborate with operations to ensure clear understanding and accurate implementation
- Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement; analyze data and user feedback to iterate on existing products and inform future product development
- Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and identify opportunities to differentiate Gen Mobile's offerings
- Pricing & Packaging: Contribute to the development of pricing and packaging strategies for new and existing products
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies for new product launches
- Fulfill additional assignments and projects from marketing as needed, including assisting with the execution and management of marketing department initiatives (e.g., website redevelopment, marketing materials, and sales communications)
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science) MBA preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the telecommunications or technology industry

- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout the entire lifecycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,662.50/Year - $103,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
