Overview
As a Business Functional Analyst on our Automation as a Service team, you’ll play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You’ll work closely with business and operations teams to translate functional requirements into user stories for the development team, all within a collaborative SCRUM framework. Your contributions will help shape innovative solutions and improve internal processes, directly impacting the efficiency and success of our projects. By working alongside developers, testers, and business stakeholders, you’ll ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality software.

What You’ll Do
Capture functional and non-functional requirements for solution development within a SCRUM framework
Write detailed user stories using behavior-driven design
Understand and apply business architecture to define story requirements
Collaborate with developers to clarify stories and ensure alignment with product goals
Map data flows and business processes to ensure comprehensive requirements
Troubleshoot process, feature, and data issues through root cause analysis
Skills You’ll Need
Proven experience in a Business Functional Analyst role
Strong background in working with enterprise software applications
Expertise in relationship building and team leadership
Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Scrum Master or Agile Coaching certification
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Passion for sharing knowledge and best practices with others
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong client and service orientation
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
