Overview
Technology Management is responsible for improving the technological aspects of operations to reduce infrastructure costs, improve functional performance and help deliver Divisional business goals. Work includes:
Partnering with key internal stakeholders to translate bank strategy into objectives and plans for implementation supporting the delivery of world class technology solutions. Planning and managing computer operations and production support, systems and database administration, network operations, and client service. Ensuring systems performance and service level requirements are met. Managing and maintaining strategic relationships with key IT product and services providers. Transferring business requirements into technical solutions or into Release Management. Providing in-depth technical expertise for both tactical and operational initiatives.

What You’ll Do
- Accountable for the Americas networks stability consisting of a variety of complex network technologies within data centers, office buildings, branches, colocation facilities, and cloud infrastructure.
- Responsible for first class customer service engagement, building and maintaining key relationships with clients, business, vendors and other GNS services and teams
- Be an expert in risk and issue management experience, driving early identification, response and drive remediation of issues whilst constantly driving to deliver against our KPI’s.
- Have expertise knowledge in ITIL processes to provide leadership in driving early identification, response, and drive remediation of issues
How You’ll Lead (VP and above)
- Expert ability to summarize technical issues to non-technical teams and manage client expectations.
- Willingness to work with global peers in standardizing processes and tools
- General level of understanding of a broad range of IT infrastructure technologies - DNS, Unix, Windows Servers, VHS technologies, Backup Solutions, Databases, Cloud Solutions and Storage.
Skills You’ll Need
- Experience in managing regional enterprise network teams. 5+ in a financial institution
- Experience in designing training programs across L1, L2 and L3 operations teams
- Experience with managing network technology vendors and products (Cisco, Arista, McAfee, Akamai, Checkpoint, BGP, OSPF, multicast, VRF, NetFlow)
- Experience with ITIL processes including Change Management, Incident Management and Problem management.
- A highly proactive self-starting ethos, with strong customer focus with outstanding situational leadership and problem-solving skills.
Skills That Will Help You Excel
- Degree or equivalent level with appropriate Industry standard qualifications (Bachelor’s required, Masters preferred)
- Knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITILv3 or v4) framework
- Verbal and written communication skills, with ability to discuss complex technology issues to stakeholders and team members
- Microsoft Suite 365
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $203,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
