Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Software Engineer (multiple openings) in Highlands Ranch, CO to:
- Architect, design, build, develop, test, and/or implement software applications.
- Conduct business and technical analysis, code reviews, and unit testing.
- Implement, and produce technical documentation of solutions for new development, system enhancements, and production support.
- Design, develop, and implement modifications and corrections to existing software, including the development of debugging routines.
- Perform regular check-ins to continuous integration of systems and/or software applications.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and work with architects, systems analysts, project managers, QA and other developers to implement business requirements while applying the latest available tools and technology.
- Work under direct supervision to ensure on-time delivery of projects, production support plans, and knowledge transfer for long-term supportability of upgrades, enhancements, and deployments.
- Position reports to the Highlands Ranch, Colorado office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Position requires experience in the following skills:
- Java, J2EE, JDBC, JMS, Spring, Hibernate, JMX, or MBeans;
- C#, XML, SQL, PL/SQL, Objective C, C, C++, Python, or Ruby;
- HTML, ReactJS, Redux, AngularJS, CSS, or JavaScript;
- Mac, Linux, Windows, or CentOS;
- WebSphere, Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic, or SOA integrations;
- Docker, Kubernetes, Vert.x, GitHub, Oracle Server, or Spring Boot;
- Apache Cassandra, NoSQL, MongoDB, Oracle PL/SQL, or Teradata Database;
- SDLC;
- Object Oriented Programming; and
- Distributed Systems.
Experience in the skills can be gained via academic coursework and/or work experience.

Worksite: Highlands Ranch, CO
Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $117,021.0 USD to $155,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
