Job Description

Join our Issuer Processing DPS One team as a Staff Software Engineer, where you'll help design, enhance, and build our open systems transactional platform.

We seek a talented full-stack senior developer to join our DPS One team. As a technical leader, you should be passionate about leveraging cutting-edge web technologies to create interactive web applications.

You should have a strong knowledge base and enthusiasm for developing usable and scalable web software. The role requires self-direction and the ability to collaborate with technology and business partners at all levels. Additionally, you should thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment that constantly adopts the latest technologies and techniques.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
Extensive knowledge of C#, SQL Server, HTML, Javascript and CSS
Experience with React
Experience with JavaScript frameworks (preferably AngularJS, Bootsrap or other MVC/MVA web application frameworks).
Knowledge of Oracle or SQL Server with an understanding of the impacts of indexing and schema design along with query analysis and optimization.
Experience with Java, REST, SOAP, JSON and XML is extremely helpful.
Understanding of Agile software development principles along with experience participating in agile projects
Experience with incorporating continuous integration and continuous delivery, utilizing technologies such as GIT, Maven, and Jenkins
Ability to lead and self-manage projects and tasks.
Ability, desire and motivation to learn quickly and pick up new skills
Organized and be able to prioritize workload in order to meet necessary deadlines
Demonstrable teamwork attitude, ready to initiate collaboration and resolve conflicts

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 117,700.00 to 170,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
