Job Description
Team Summary
The Third-Party Lifecycle Management Program (TLMP) team is a second line of defense Third Party Risk Management team operating as part of the Corporate Risk function. TLMP is responsible for governance and oversight of Visa’s third-party risk and is responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the controls in place to identify, monitor, and manage Visa's third-party risk throughout the third party’s lifecycle with Visa.
What a Third-Party Senior Manager – North America (NA) does at Visa:
This is a fulltime position at Visa for Visa’s Third-Party Lifecycle Management team. We are seeking a Senior Manager to manage Visa’ portfolio of digital tools and drive our overall digitization strategy and core platform development. This role also includes leading the coordination, drafting and review of governance material and committee reporting. The ideal candidate for this role will also be expected to manage TLMP’s global governance documentation and coordinate cross-functionally with key stakeholders and regional teams to maintain this information.
Essential Functions
The Senior Manager is expected to ensure all aspects of the assigned functions adhere to the Third-Party Lifecycle Management Policy and Procedures. This position reports to the Senior Director of Third-Party Lifecycle Management.
In this role, you are expected to:
- Oversee the execution of key aspects of the digitization strategy for TLMP, ensuring progress against key milestones and guiding program stakeholders through crucial decision points.
- Collaborate with Visa technology teams on system enhancements and progression along the digital roadmap.
- Collect and analyze feedback from program stakeholders and manage cross-functional relationships across TLMP’s tool strategy.
- Act as the primary point of expertise on core TLMP process and design, driving the execution roadmap for key program strategy updates and process enhancements when necessary.
- Sustain and upgrade TLMP’s existing governance material, ensuring its effectiveness and relevance against industry standards and regulations, and manage the continual development of Standard Operational Procedures and review of core program documentation.
- Facilitate the drafting, review, and completion of TLMP Governance Committee material.
- Support internal and external audit engagements, lead in the creation, development, and review of response material and provide evidential support for assessments where TLMP is involved.
- Assist in the review of contracts for third-party agreements, including the response to redlines, language drafting, and negotiation support.
- Oversee other TLMP activities related to third-party lifecycle management.
- Focus on supporting multiple regional teams, program stakeholders, and key 1LoD teams through governance, digitization strategy, and design.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD.
- 5+ years of experience executing risk programs, information security programs and/or audit program working with supplier or vendor risk assessments on Technology and Human Resources.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, concise and impactful way – turning research and raw data into hard numbers into compelling stories and useful strategic insights to a variety of stakeholders.
- Working understanding of Global third-party regulations. A deep understanding of OCC, EBA, DORA and FCA regulations is preferred.
- Working experience with GRC tools and system maintenance and improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and achieving results, with an emphasis on how work is being accomplished.
- General understanding of contract terms and conditions.
- Professional accreditation in risk management.
- Proficiency in Financial Systems (Ariba, Aravo, Oracle, Coupa, IBM).

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 133,000.00 to 192,950.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
