DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead Production Teams : Manage and develop the daily activities of multiple production teams, ensuring they meet production targets and maintain high standards of housekeeping.

  • Identify Training Needs : Recognize the training needs of team members and develop comprehensive training plans to address them.

  • Implement Training Plans : Execute training plans effectively, ensuring team members are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university, or equivalent degree required.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Intermediate level of supervisory experience required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information:

  • Ensure the daily safety, quality, and production outputs of direct hourly associates.

  • Complete Go See Act’s for safety incidents on 3rd shift in a timely manner.

  • Conduct DWU performance reviews promptly.

  • Develop and implement a training plan to achieve 2/3 depth on critical assets for 3rd shift.

  • Oversee 5S activities on 3rd shift.

  • Manage approximately 24 shop employees.

  • Follow the direction from 1st shift managers for their areas, demonstrating flexibility and judgment to adapt to changes without additional resources (e.g., no engineering and quality engineers on 3rd shift).

  • Provide input for the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) function and MSA technicians within the value stream.

  • Participate in and lead manning requirements for the area.

  • Assign resources to drive improvements for key KPI measures for the team.

  • Supervise (not manage) all support areas on 3rd shift, including Quality, Materials, and Maintenance.

  • Report asset updates to 1st shift managers.

  • Send a shift report on a nightly basis.

  • Utilize sound judgment to make quick decisions without cross-functional support on shift.
