Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Technology Architect who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Technology Architect with 10 to 14 years of experience in SAP ABAP Workflow ABAP OOPS Abap Web Services BRF - Business Rules Framework SAP WebDynpro for Java WebDynpro for ABAP and Core ABAP. The ideal candidate will have domain experience in Media and Education. This hybrid role requires day shift work with no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

· Lead the design and implementation of SAP ABAP solutions to meet business requirements in the Media and Education domains.

· Oversee the development and maintenance of ABAP OOPS ensuring high performance and reliability.

· Provide expertise in Abap Web Services to integrate various systems and enhance functionality.

· Develop and manage BRF

· Business Rules Framework to streamline business processes.

· Utilize SAP WebDynpro for Java and WebDynpro for ABAP to create user-friendly interfaces.

· Ensure the efficient operation of Core ABAP applications troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.

· Mentor junior developers sharing knowledge and best practices to foster a collaborative learning environment.

· Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

· Participate in project planning and provide technical guidance to ensure successful project delivery.

· Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends to continuously improve solutions.

· Document technical specifications and provide training to end-users to ensure smooth adoption of new systems.

· Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality solutions that enhance business operations.

Qualifications

· Must have strong experience in SAP ABAP Workflow ABAP OOPS Abap Web Services BRF

· Business Rules Framework SAP WebDynpro for Java WebDynpro for ABAP and Core ABAP.

· Must have domain experience in Media and Education.

· Should possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

· Should have strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

· Nice to have experience in hybrid work models and adapting to different work environments.

· Nice to have experience mentoring and guiding junior developers.

· Should be detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality solutions.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $138,000 USD - $132,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
