About the Role

As the Director of Product Management on our Spending PM team, you will play a critical role in our mission of transforming the banking experience for millions of members to unlock financial progress. You will lead our product management teams building the cards, products, and experiences that empower Chime members to use and spend their money, and power Chime’s business model. You will define and execute our vision to redefine at-scale consumer banking products and the spending experience for millions of everyday Americans. In this role you will build and recruit high-performing teams, foster strong cross-functional relationships, and deliver industry-changing consumer products to millions of Chime members.

The product teams in this area build and manage Chime’s cards, spending experiences, and account capabilities for all of our members.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $207,000 and up to $307,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Build exceptional product management teams by attracting, coaching, and leading top talent
  • Set and generate alignment on Chime’s card portfolio and core banking experiences, in close partnership with your peers in engineering, marketing, and with company leadership
  • Develop, prioritize, and execute on product roadmaps that deliver on a combination of member and business goals
  • Create collaborative cross-functional partnerships across engineering, design, operations, and a broader organization
  • Be relentlessly resourceful in navigating challenges and identifying opportunities to deliver impact and results across member experiences, company growth, and financial performance
  • Bring your understanding of consumers and financial technology to guide your team to innovate in industry-leading ways

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • 10+ years of product management experience with 3+ years as a manager, including significant time spent working on at-scale consumer experiences and in financial domains.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and clarity, with the ability to drive long-term, industry-changing innovation that challenges the status quo
  • A proven track record of building and managing consumer products at scale, driving both existing product iteration and new products that have changed the trajectory of the business
  • A track record of deep collaboration with executive leaders and successfully leading and delivering launches that drive growth
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate vision, strategy, and results to a variety of stakeholders and to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional ability to lead, foster collaboration, and build strong relationships across all levels of an organization
  • Relentless drive and resourcefulness in pursuing objectives and overcoming obstacles.
