Your Opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

We’re hiring for an exciting opportunity within Schwab’s Workplace Marketing organization, on the Strategy & Integrated Marketing team. Our organization is responsible for activating all Schwab offers to meet the needs of Workplace (retirement and stock plan) sponsors and participants, to become their primary financial partner of choice. We’re passionate about helping participants understand the value of their employers’ retirement and equity benefits and how these fit into their overall financial picture. Most importantly, we achieve results working together as a team of smart, motivated people who rally around shared goals and bring their authentic selves to work.

The Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing is a high-impact, highly visible individual contributor responsible for developing and delivering marketing and education programs that address Workplace participants’ financial needs and goals. By helping Schwab deliver on our “Through Clients’ Eyes” approach, you’ll contribute to both positive participant outcomes and organizational growth goals. Along the way, you’ll work with partners across other marketing teams, strategy, product management, sales, client experience, publishing, compliance, creative agencies, and more.

A typical day for the Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing might look like: drafting a creative brief to kick off agency work on a multi-channel marketing program; joining a leadership meeting to gain alignment on a new marketing initiative; providing thoughtful feedback on marketing drafts to ensure best-in-class, on-strategy creative execution; and doing discovery around a new retail offering to determining relevancy and messaging strategy for Workplace audiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing subject matter expertise in Schwab’s Workplace participant experiences, audiences, and business goals—increasingly establishing self as a go-to marketing expert, thought leader, and consultant.
  • Strategizing and developing best-in-class marketing and education experiences that support audiences through all they need to know and do in their employer’s Workplace plan, while introducing Schwab solutions for their broader financial needs.
  • Continually elevating our marketing and education best practices by leveraging deep audience insights, competitive intel, data, client and partner feedback, a test-and-learn approach, and more.
  • Proactively and autonomously managing set of large, complex initiatives to completion in a matrixed, highly collaborative, high-change environment.
  • Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and leaders at all levels of the organization and across different disciplines, to gain alignment and buy-in on marketing strategies.

*This is a hybrid position, working out of one of our service center locations

  • 8+ years of marketing experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven ability to develop, communicate, and gain alignment around a big-picture integrated marketing vision and strategy—and then translate that into thoughtful execution plans and tactics spanning different audiences (B:B:C, B:C) and channels (email, web, direct mail, educational content, etc.).
  • Data-driven mindset, leveraging insights to inform marketing strategies, prioritizing test-and-learns, and creating post-launch feedback loops that leverage campaign analysis to shape future work.
  • Results orientation and track record of success moving multiple large, competing marketing initiatives forward to completion simultaneously, and in a matrixed, regulated organization—balancing project momentum with keeping stakeholders appropriately consulted and informed.
