Broadcom's Core Switching Group (CSG) is looking for HW NPI Operations Manager to lead NPI PCB and Assembly manufacturing, system assembly and test, lab management and supply chain management. This is a critical and a very exciting role for the team that requires work with cross functional teams, ensuring that reference systems are built to the highest quality standards and shipped to internal and external customers on time. The ideal candidate is energetic, used to a very high pace environment, will have a strong technical background including hardware system operations, with a proven track record of managing large-scale testing projects, and excellent communication and leadership skills. Responsibilities
System operations
Own system operations: board bring-up, mechanical system assembly and final system test
Own comprehensive system test strategy for all products
Define test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and design specifications
Manage system delivery metrics for new programs and for returned systems.
Manage board rework, BGA rework and SMT flow recommendations and process with CMs
Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies with automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues identified during testing
Provide regular updates to senior management (lab throughput, CM output quality, system returns, etc)
Lab Management
Lab space allocation, lab infrastructure management, CapEx and Assets management
Lab test equipment ownership including calibration, sourcing, repair and asset tracking
Manage internal inventory control of systems, PCBs, mechanical system components
Support PCB and Mechanical rework with internal and external resources.
Team Management
Manage a team of system test engineers and technicians with external resources when necessary
Manage lab capacity forecast for upcoming projects
Drive test execution metrics to high quality standards
Manage internal corrective actions for internal processes
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, or related field and 12+ years of related experience
5+ years of experience in system testing of large-scale testing projects
5+ years in managing test engineers and technicians
Strong knowledge of system and Si testing, test sockets, lab test instruments, building HW labs.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $141,000 - $225,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
