    Job Overview:
    We are seeking a DevOps Project Manager who will oversee the delivery of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and manage cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has deep experience with DevOps practices, project management, and hands-on experience with Jenkins and GitHub. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the successful execution of DevOps initiatives.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Project Management:
  • Plan, lead, and manage the full lifecycle of DevOps projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to streamline CI/CD processes.
  • Establish project timelines, deliverables, and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and handle resource allocation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management:
  • Oversee and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Ensure GitHub repositories are managed effectively, including code branching, merging strategies, and version control.
  • Implement automation to improve pipeline efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Coordinate with DevOps engineers, developers, and testers to implement best practices in automation and deployment.
  • Ensure the team adheres to Agile and DevOps principles for efficient collaboration and rapid delivery.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
  • Technical Leadership:
  • Provide guidance in configuring and maintaining Jenkins pipelines, plugins, and security best practices.
  • Set up and manage GitHub repositories, ensure code quality, and implement code review processes.
  • Advocate for the use of automation tools and technologies to streamline DevOps workflows.
  • Reporting & Metrics:
  • Track and report on KPIs related to the DevOps lifecycle, such as deployment frequency, lead time, and system reliability.
  • Prepare status reports for senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting project milestones and any blockers.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance the team’s capabilities.
  • Lead post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Required Qualifications:
    Experience:
  • 5 years of experience in DevOps, with a minimum of 3 years in project management.
  • Proven experience in managing Jenkins and GitHub workflows in a large-scale environment.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, including job configurations, plugins, and pipeline-as-code.
  • Proficiency in GitHub, including version control, branching, and repository management.
  • Experience with other DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and decision-making skills.
  • Leadership qualities to manage cross-functional teams and drive DevOps culture.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in Agile or Scrum Master roles.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and cloud automation.
  • Experience working in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment.
