Role: Sr Data Scientist
Location: Alameda CA
Experience Required: 6+ years in Data Science with a focus on NLP and Generative AI, particularly with large language models (LLM).
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement advanced NLP algorithms and models using state-of-the-art techniques, with a strong emphasis on large language models (LLM).
· Fine-tune and optimize LLMs for specific tasks and domains, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
· Design and implement strategies for LLM deployment in both open source and proprietary environments.
· Utilize methods such as LOra, QLora, Ptuning, etc., to enhance LLM capabilities and adapt them to business requirements.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design effective prompts for LLMs to achieve desired outputs.
· Lead inferencing processes to extract meaningful insights from LLM outputs and improve model performance.
· Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP and Generative AI, particularly focusing on Transformer-based models and their applications.
Required Skills:
· Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries/frameworks for NLP (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers,Pytorch, TGI , PEFT).
· In-depth understanding of Transformer architecture and its application in developing LLMs.
· Experience in fine-tuning and optimizing large language models (LLMs) for various tasks.
· Strong knowledge of deploying LLMs in both open source and close source environments.
· Familiarity with methods like LOra, QLora, Ptuning, and their practical application in enhancing LLM performance.
· Proven track record in designing effective prompts to guide LLM outputs towards specific objectives.
· Experience in Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) and it's generative AI and LLM inference and deployment resources
