Job Summary

Summary: Functioning as clinical collaborator to an active interdisciplinary research team and under the very general direction of the PI and Project Director, manages a large PCORI (Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute) project to improve outcomes in patients with Asthma. Taking ownership of the funder’s project milestones throughout the life of the project, facilitating stakeholder and patient advisor engagement, monitoring project goals to ensure milestones are met on time, ensuring that the project is completed successfully. Leads and provides guidance and support to all project team members. Participates in all decisions made for the study and the formulation of policies and procedures. Identifies modifications needed and works to implement solutions. Directly responds to inquiries regarding the study protocol and policy. Serves as a liaison to internal and external population.


Qualifications

Education: Masters in Public Health or in another Social Science discipline is desired OR a Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of five (5) years work experience in healthcare clinical research operations

- Experience in project management, preferably in the healthcare industry.

- Previous management or supervisory experience is desirable

- Ability to supervise and train staff effectively.
- Strong computer skills.
