Job Summary

The Opportunity

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible to support users to understand complex clinical and business workflows, define functional requirements, convey requirements to colleagues engaged in software design and configuration activities, execute test scripts and user acceptance testing, and provide software support services. Responsible for evaluating and documenting existing business processes and recommending optimization efforts to re-engineer processes accordingly.

Essential Functions

-Document and analyze complex business processes and workflows to drive business process improvements and ensure accurate system configuration.
-Identify and recommend best practices for business analysis, training, and end user support functions.
-Perform data discovery, analysis and modeling to inform / influence business decisions and project planning.
-Collaborate with architects and program managers on roadmap planning and prioritization.
-Develop and execute user acceptance testing plans including creation of test cases.
-Communicate status of various team efforts to leadership and stakeholders, including preparing presentations.
- Manage multiple projects and steams of work related to high priority intiatives
-Mentor and train junior team members.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field of study required

  • Review of experience in lieu of a degree can be considered

  • 5-7 years of experience in information technology, working with business or clinical systems required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Experience conducting data analysis, creating detailed reports and using data to influence outcomes / business decisions.

-Excellent Project Management Skills

Schedule Requirements:

  • M-F Hybrid required

  • Eastern Business hours

  • Onsite work includes MGB local sites / Somerville, MA and is based on team and business needs

  • Remote working days require a stable, secure, quiet, and compliant working station
