About the role:
This Senior Global Product Manager is responsible for developing and driving key marketing and business objectives for Boston Scientific’s Electrophysiology (EP) Mapping System Product
Portfolio, with a focus on global product marketing strategy, marketing excellence, and ensuring a world-class customer experience today while guiding the product lifecycle strategy to deliver global growth.
This includes involvement in developing and implementing marketing initiatives, driving the launch of multiple products globally, evolving the portfolio, seeking new solutions, and championing global commercial execution to ensure achievement of ambitious growth targets. This role will achieve their goals working through their team and in direct collaboration with key functions, regions, and countries. This person is an experienced marketer of highly technical and clinical products and demonstrates strength in customer focus, franchise management, product launch execution, commercialization, and business acumen.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serve as core leader on advanced mapping program to drive clear and specific priorities for product enhancements by capturing customer feedback and working with other internal functional groups.
- Leverages marketing capabilities (market understanding, market segmentation, product
- positioning, message development, channel identification, tactic creation, etc.) to meet business objectives.
- Identifies opportunities for global expansion, leveraging cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
- Proposes the allocation of resources to assist in managing a products' life cycle from commercialization through retirement by assessing needs and objectives.
- Evaluates promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
- Develops global relationships and builds credibility/influence with internal cross-functional stakeholders across multiple countries/regions.
- Support global initiatives through clinical data dissemination, education, resources, and collateral creation.
- Anticipates global competitive activities, monitors competitive pipelines, and strategically responds to competitive initiatives and marketing campaigns.
- Serve as key liaison with external partners, collaborating in the creation of new marketing tools, sales/physician training, and evidence strategies.
- Contributes toward the development of an annual departmental budget by understanding future needs, current objectives, and budget guidelines.
- Represents the company and its products when supporting industry events; visits customer to solicit feedback on company products and services.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of work experience in product marketing or a related role
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 20% travel
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Healthcare/Biomedical
- Advanced degree (Masters, MBA)
- Medical device, electrophysiology, and/or mapping experience
- Experience creating impactful marketing and product launch plans
- Experience working globally across multiple countries/regions
- Action-oriented and strategic, with an ability to collaborate with a wide array of internal/external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
