About the role:

As a Principal Rapid Response Business Process Analyst in the Plant Manufacturing space, you will be responsible for independently managing the implementation and optimization of Kinaxis Rapid Response solutions for the Materials Management team, primarily Planning and Purchasing. Building on foundational skills, you will work on more complex projects, providing insights and developing solutions that enhance supply chain processes and respond to immediate business needs. The role requires collaboration with local, regional, and global business partners as well as Global Supply Chain teams to manage, train, optimize, and monitor the foundational system settings in a dynamically changing environment.

BP&A Team Purpose Statement: We exist to provide SAP/RR, project, and data/analytic expertise to Materials Management and Operations that enables rapid and confident decision velocity, continuous improvement, and collective advancement.

Your Responsibilities will Include:

  • Understand and Analyze Business Requirements and Collaborate with business users to gather detailed requirements, understand challenges, and provide tailored solutions. Establish yourself as a knowledgeable resource and advisor.
  • Lead Implementation efforts in the configuration, customization, integration, and testing of Rapid Response solutions. Manage project components, track progress, and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Collaborate with COE on design solutions that meet business needs while ensuring scalability and sustainability. Ensure adherence to industry best practices.
  • Provide User Training and Support and develop comprehensive training programs (train the trainer) and deliver training sessions to ensure optimal user adoption of Rapid Response solutions. Provide ongoing support and resolve more complex issues as needed.
  • Proactively suggest enhancements to supply chain processes. Monitor Platform Developments and Stay up to date with the latest Kinaxis Rapid Response features and industry trends.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including solution designs, process flows, and user manuals. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, accessible, and understood by all end users.
  • Adhere to the guidelines set by the Directors and Managers of the GSC Planning COE team and local leadership to support their initiatives.
  • Continuous collaboration with SAP BPL to ensure dual system alignment.
  • Serve as backup for SAP BPL to ensure critical business needs are met during coverage.
  • Travel is expected 20% within the first year and reduce to 5% thereafter.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years specializing in Kinaxis Rapid Response.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of leading and managing complex implementation projects, with a strong emphasis on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Kinaxis Rapid Response configuration, scripting, and integration. Strong understanding of supply chain planning principles.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across various teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: Experience in the medical device or life sciences industry.
  • Certifications: APICS certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Certifications: Kinaxis Rapid Response certification as Master, Contributor and Administrator.
