Risk Manager- Framework - Chief Risk Office

- Lead on development and embedding of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, aligned to risk strategy and the company’s objectives
- Provide deep subject matter expertise across all aspects of Enterprise Risk Management
- Expertise in Risk appetite and Tolerance and key risk and performance indicators
- Develop and monitor the emerging and external risk landscape, and the impact across business areas
- Develop monitoring and reporting of enterprise risk exposures across risks, controls and issues
- Partner with a wide variety of stakeholder groups across first (business and control groups) and second line (compliance, finance etc) to collaborate and drive program outcomes
- Develop enterprise risk training and awareness programs
- Develop and lead on enterprise risk reporting, providing risk transparency and support senior leadership decision making
- Developing framework documentation (policies, procedures) and related workflows for the GRC system, to drive ERM and stakeholder objectives
- Knowledge and expertise in Risk Events
- Drive data quality, data led views of metrics and risk reporting on exposures
- Stay informed on risk industry and educational/development opportunities
- Use Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools to evidence risk management, monitoring, measurement, and reporting within the division
- Follow up on gaps, Incidents and Remediation plans that require actions for respective business units
- Develop and implement advanced risk management frameworks over time (enterprise scenarios, stress testing etc)
- Developing and implementing risk maturity assessments
- 10+ years' experience in risk management
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or related discipline
- Knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and trading lifecycle
- Great collaboration skills to guide organizational change and partner with both senior management and staff
- Proven intellectual curiosity through professional training, advanced degree or professional impact
- Understanding of risk management frameworks, such as COSO
- Prior experience in either a 1st or 2nd line of defense capacity
- Self-starter, with the ability to work independently with minimal guidance and a positive work attitude
- Excellent time management skills and ability to deliver work on assigned schedules
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to act decisively and independently to resolve sophisticated issues
- Ability to simplify difficult concepts and challenges
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and efficiency of operating across a multitude of levels
