Senior Product Manager, Subscriptions

As a Senior Product Manager with the Subscriptions team, you will be responsible for driving product vision, strategy and execution of Protection Plan lifecycle/data, claims lifecycle, protection plan communications and user experience capabilities. Subscriptions are a vital part of Best Buy’s business model and its strategy for growing meaningful customer relationships. The Subscriptions Team includes Protection Plans, Memberships, Streaming and Software services. We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead our Protection Plans domain and cross functional domains that support all Subscriptions.
This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days on site at a Best Buy location and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process. For this role, you must be located within a drivable distance to our office in Richfield, Minnesota, or Atlanta, Georgia.
What you’ll do
- Define a compelling product vision, roadmap, quarterly objectives and key results in partnership with your product leadership, product team and key stakeholders
- Leverage continuous feedback loops with your stakeholders and support discovery practices that effectively inform your products’ priorities
- Build multi-team alignment on product prioritization (e.g. sprint/roadmap) by utilizing key customer and business metrics to inform your products’ priorities
- Effectively lead and mobilize product teams comprised of product managers to execute on their deliverables
- Manage and develop individual direct reports, including bearing leadership responsibilities with the product team(s) with which they work
- Partner with engineering, project management, design, and marketing teams to launch new products and features
- Create detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- 2 or more years of Product Management experience, OR experience working with development, User experience, Strategy, etc.
- 1 or more years of experience with direct people management and team management.
- 1 or more years of relevant experience in strategy creation, customer-focused solutioning, cross-functional leadership, or related.
- 1 or more years of product management experience in managing technical platform products.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field OR equivalent experience
- 6 or more years of Product Management experience, OR experience working with development, User experience, Strategy, or related
- 2 or more years of experience with direct people management and team management
- 2 or more years of experience managing platform products
- 1 or more years of experience in retail organization(s)
