ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon. The ASML Silicon Valley Development Operations and HPC Team continuously improves on 7 main processes: Code, Build, Test, Package, Release, Configure, Monitor.

This candidate will be expected to work under the supervision of a senior DevOps engineer or Team Lead. A successful candidate is expected to be able to learn and contribute.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Develop and implement automation scripts or tools on CI/CD infrastructure

- Analyze and debug issues

- Document processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.

- Assist Senior engineers on DevOps Infrastructure and frameworks

- Any on-demand software tool development tasks.

Education and Experience

- Rising senior of Bachelor student or Master student in Computer Science, Computer engineering , Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills

- Proficient in scripting languages ( Python, Bash, Shell)

- Windows, Unix or Linus experience is required.

- Experience in Git, Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker, Kubernetes are a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Other Information

• This engineer is required onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation. (Important to insert additional onsite language specific to the role: i.e., inspection, specific training and supervision, etc.)

• A flexible workplace arrangement is available for remote work up to two days a week.

Responsibilities

• Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20pounds.

• May require travel (specify domestic and/or international) dependent on business needs.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
