Description
We are looking for a skilled ML Engineer to build innovative and scalable evaluation systems for Apple’s products. This role will use the software engineering skills and various ML/AI techniques to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our evaluation system. Key responsibilities include: * Develop tools to improve human-in-the-loop evaluation processes. * Develop automatic evaluation systems that systematically assess model performance and detect areas of weakness. * Automate data scientists’ performance analysis workflows to enhance the efficiency and accuracy. * Stay at the forefront of ML and GenAI advancements, quickly adopting and applying the latest techniques to improve evaluation methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in developing and deploying ML/GenAI applications on cloud or premise.Strong programming skills in Python; Proficient in building scalable API solutions, developing data pipelines, and working with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Strong communication skill; Proficiency in critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to address business needs.
- B.S. in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research or related areas.
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Staying on top of emerging trends in generative modeling; able to adopt new techniques and tools very quickly.
- Industrial experience in developing product evaluation system is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in building database or web applications is a plus.
- Ph.D. in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, operations Research or related areas.
