The Apps Program QA team is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced QA engineer who is passionate about driving software quality improvements and en- hancing the customer experience across Apple Books and Notes app!
Description
As an Apps Program QA Software Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for test- ing both existing and newly developed features across all supported Apple devices. You will create test plans, design test cases, and conduct gray-box, structural, and ad-hoc tests to ensure Apple Books and Notes meet Apple’s standard for highest level of quality. Additionally, you’ll escalate bug reports, and drive issues to resolu- tion. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to the development of new features that will push our products to the next level!
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- • Excellent understanding of SQA methodologies & practices
- • Excellent experience in end-user functional testing with a strong focus on the user
- experience
- • Experience with setting up complex test environments and strong multi-tasking
- capabilities
- • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- • Excellent organizational skills for bug reporting and tracking critical issues across
- multiple projects
- • Proven ability to conduct thorough investigations, analyze system logs and find
- root cause of issues
