We are the Security and Privacy Compliance team. We sit within the Apple Services Engineering (ASE) organization and are responsible for ensuring that all of Apple’s Services, which includes everything from the App Store to iCloud data to Apple TV and the infrastructure that powers it, are compliant. We are growing our team and looking for a Senior Software Security Engineer that will focus on building and scaling a global cloud services governance, risk management and compliance program. You will help uphold Apple’s high security standards. You will ensure we meet our legal and regulatory obligations while safeguarding the systems that millions of our users rely on every day. You will collaborate with engineering leaders, developers, quality engineers, compliance and security teams across Apple to institute the controls.

Description

You will be responsible for architecting, building and maintaining our compliance engineering tools which help supporting our PCI and SOX audits. This role is well suited for a software engineer with a keen interest in building tools for a security compliance team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience working as a software engineer and/or security engineer
  • Expertise with security standards such as SOX, PCI-DSS, ISO27K, SOC or NIST (some combination of these is ideal)
  • Design and implement automation tooling for assurance, compliance, and regulatory activities, specifically for SOX/PCI
  • Develop tooling to create reports assurance failures, inconsistencies, and gaps to stakeholders.

  • Ability to develop relationships and work effectively with different teams at all levels and across functions relative to technical, policy, and business concerns

  • Ability to resolve conflicts and drive issues to resolution
