Description
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Material Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Optics, Engineering Physics, Physics with a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience
- Technical experience in polymer chemistry, polymer films and optical materials
- Experience with thin films, coating processes, optical & material characterization, surface and interfacial science, and/or material chemistry
- Experience working with polymer synthesis, formulation development of aqueous/non aqueous coatings, formulation characterization methods or corresponding wet deposition techniques
- Experience in design of experiments and corresponding statistical data analysis

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in relevant field.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex material and interface challenges in a manufacturing setting
- Expertise in surface and interface analysis, characterization, failure analysis, etc.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate a multi-functional team
- Hands-on experience and consistent track record in relevant areas in optical films, polymer films, coatings & materials, sophisticated process technology development, and associated equipment
- Experience leading domestic and international vendors
- Knowledgeable of thin film deposition and corresponding metrology methods (ex. PVD, CVD, ALD, wet coatings/processing, XPS, SEM, TEM, AFM, and XRD, etc.)
- Understanding of optical coatings design, finite element analysis (FEA), light-matter interactions and corresponding basics
