We’re looking for an engineer to help define the future of password management, enhance the experience of authenticating to apps and websites, and lead the world to a more secure future with passkeys. The team builds on top of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, visionOS, and the web platform to deliver the Keychain password manager, Password AutoFill, developer APIs, and other features integrated into iOS and macOS apps. Together, we’ll improve people’s security, privacy, and quality of life as they create accounts for and sign into the apps and websites they use every day.

Description

As an Authentication Experience Engineer, you will invent new features and take them through the software development process, spanning from prototyping, coding, debugging, and through to shipping and communicating their story. You will empathize with the people who will use the software and listen to their feedback to improve existing features and help decide where the team’s attention should go next. Throughout the process, you will work closely with the rest of the team and with other teams, including the security, privacy, and human interface design teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detailed knowledge of any one of: Objective-C, Swift, C++
  • Strong programming, debugging, and problem solving skills

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with user interface development with UIKit, AppKit or SwiftUI
  • Comfort evaluating ideas from both a usability and security perspective
