Supply Chain Manager

What you will do

In this vital role you will support the business process owner for the clinical SAP solution in support of the clinical Order to Cash (OTC) functionality and the implementation of new functionality supporting projects and process improvement. This role interacts with multiple organizations to ensure system functionality for the ordering, shipment, proof of receipt, reconciliation and replenishment of clinical investigational product at clinical sites from Amgen and third-party depots.

Position responsibilities include:

  • Support training of the clinical OTC process at Amgen to DSC and cross functional staff.
  • Document all clinical customizations in tracker in support of S4 HANA readiness.
  • Manage end-to-end process flow archive and ongoing workshops.
  • Manage audit readiness playbooks.
  • Support case justification for clinical enhancements.
  • Interpret customer’s needs to identify potential opportunities for improvements. Generate Business Requirements (BRD) documents to initiate enhancements per the intake process.
  • Act as change owner to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support and/or lead enhancements. Develop project achievements, adhere to timelines, utilize project management tools such as Smartsheet, communicate issues, ensure issue resolution, and ensure change management for business end users.
  • Act as primary tester for system enhancements and upgrades, which includes script authoring/approval, data preparation, test execution, defect resolution test approval.
  • Monitor iDoc failures and determine root cause of issues. Work with business and/or IS team to implement corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot technical incidents with end users applying both internal resources and outside organizations such as External Trial Operations (ETO).
  • Partner with IS to assist with the resolution of technical incidents utilizing the Integrated Service Management (ISM) application. Point of contact for application issues, incidents, and troubleshooting. Manage timely closure of incidents.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

Or

Master’s degree and 2 years of SAP or IS system experience

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of SAP or IS system experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 8 years of SAP or IS system experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 10 years of SAP or IS system experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP Order to Cash functionality
  • Experience with SAP Plan to Stock functionality
  • Experience with SAP Staging Tables
  • Experience with Clinical Investigational Product
  • Experience with SAP Security
  • Experience with Electronic Trial Operator systems and interfaces
  • Experience with Logistics Service provider systems and interfaces
  • Experience with data acquisition tools, such as Spotfire
  • Experience with IS management tools, such as ServiceNow
  • Experience with computerized system validation testing
  • Experience with Project Management
  • Experience with Quality systems and processes such as Change Control and Deviations

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
