Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Consumer Marketing has deep digital understanding, leveraging insights to develop and implement actionable strategic plans for consumer marketing. This may include but is not limited to: translating brand strategy to digital initiatives, development of social and display strategy and oversight of execution, website development/updates, media COE liaison, KPI planning, analytics reporting and ongoing optimizations to digital initiatives. Additional responsibilities include management of point-of-care materials and in-office print collateral.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of Thyroid Eye Disease (TED) and the unique characteristics of TED patients and their behaviors, drivers, and barriers, as well as the TEPEZZA brand.
  • Own the ongoing development of consumer digital strategy and tactics by creating exceptional user experiences for the brand leading to the achievement of business goals and objectives.
  • Define, track, measure and report on all digital KPIs using analytics to optimize and adjust programs as needed for key consumer promotional activities.
  • Manage branded and unbranded social content, including:
    • Development of social strategy and optimization
    • Oversight of content development and refinement
    • Drive optimizations through robust test/learn plans focused on insights pull-though to deliver on KPI goals.
  • Manage branded and unbranded programmatic & endemic display, including
    • Development of content strategy and optimization
    • Oversight of content development and refinement
    • Drive optimizations through robust test/learn plans focused on insights pull-though to deliver on KPI goals.
  • Primary consumer marketing liaison with Media COE
  • Manage point-of-care program including strategic oversight, materials development and performance optimizations
  • Manage strategy and development of in-office print collateral for patients
  • Manage external and internal agencies to meet expected project objectives and hold them accountable to agreed upon budgets, timelines and standards.
  • Form and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional business partners including Brand Communications, Advocacy, Patient Engagement and HCP Marketing.
  • Collaborate with Medical, Regulatory, and Legal reviewers across multiple materials to ensure tactics are aligned with Amgen’s standards.
  • Stay on top of changing category trends and regularly communicate opportunities and insights.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of digital marketing experience
OR
Master’s degree and 4 years of digital marketing experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of digital marketing experience
OR
Associate’s degree and 10 years of digital marketing experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of digital marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior marketing and/or agency experience in healthcare.
  • Relevant work experience managing digital media channels.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and ability to use data to make recommendations and drive decisions.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and the impact on consumer marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of medical/legal/regulatory submissions and review process.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and resources concurrently on time and on budget.
  • Strong team player, with the ability to work with a variety of personality types across a matrixed organization.
  • Comfortable and energized operating in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, proactive demeanor.
  • Passionate about consumer data and Insights.
  • Intellectually curious.
  • Proven self-starter with a desire to grow and expand marketing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires approximately 10-20% travel, including some overnight and weekend commitments.

The annual base salary range for the Patient Access Information Systems, Associate Director opportunity in the U.S. is $171,988-$202,791. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
